Q: Where money decisions are concerned, which should you prioritize: personal relationships or financial common sense?
Money is primarily a medium of exchange or means of exchange. It is a way for a person to trade what he has for what he wants. Ideal money has three critical characteristics: it acts as a medium of exchange; it is an economic good and it is a means of economic calculation. In other words, we use it to measure the value of various goods and services in an economy. It essentially serves as a standard of value.
When we first think of money, we came around these clichés: “A Fool and His Money Are Soon Parted”; “Money is Burning a Hole in My Pocket” and all the rest. We all must agree that money is also the vital and the most important part of our life. A man needs to have money to support his family. When thinking of money, some people criticize that money is for wasting, it is all evil, but you agree or not, money is there which is keeping us alive on this earth. We can't live in this practical world without money.
If I would have to face that situation of choosing between personal relationship or money, what would you choose? I would be definitely prioritizing personal relationships over money. Personal relationships are my first and top priority, but I am not saying that money is not necessary. but it is also one of the basic necessity of our life. As far as money is concerned, you have to spend it wisely. SURELY, I will choose personal relationships, but I would be smart enough to get my cash or money out of something. As much as the relations are important, the need to show the act of prioritizing financial matters are also very much important. Today's world in which we are living is very harsh. If you don't have the capability to know how, where and when you have to spend the money wisely, then you can't be a successful person in your life. If you are a rich person and doing a great business, then it is pointless. But losing your relations, friends or family for that type of money which is made of paper, is not worth it in front of that money.
Blindly making wrong decisions in your business can, in turn, affect you like causing a great loss. And, in fact, it will affect your family or other relations. So, financial matters in our life are also very important when doing business.
In the end, I would only say that whenever you have to take great decisions in life or at the time of business, do not make it at the expense of your family, or else, they will suffer. Be a wise person and show a good common sense when making decisions so that you have the best of both worlds.
Prioritize your relations above other worldly stuff!
